When you think of burning calories, you probably envision a treadmill or a set of weights, right? Well exercising is a sure way of burning calories, but there are tons of other ways you can burn calories in a short period of time. Who wouldn't love to think of ways to burn 100 or more calories in 900 seconds? Well if you've got 15 minutes to spare, read a few ways to burn at least 100 calories.
- Fast paced walking.
- Run up and down a set of stairs or a hill as fast as you can and as many times as you can.
- Pedal on the bike at the gym or on a real bike vigorously.
- Get a set of dumbbells and do several reps and then drop and plank.
- Jump rope at a high pace.
- Sprint and then rest.
These are just a few ways to burn at least 100 calories in just 15 minutes. I know that we can set time aside to burn (literally lol). If you can do these few short bursts of activity, then you are well on your way to living a healthy, active lifestyle!
